Sex+Sexual Abuse: Tools and Options

I'm doing some research on what's available out there to women and men who need help processing trauma, leaving an unhealthy home, and getting on their feet financially. While I will continue to post my own personal experience with healing and I will continue to (happily) be an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on, or even a person to ask advice from- some things and some situations, I cannot properly advise you on. I'm still in the healing process and everyone's trauma and feelings are unique.

In the mean time, while I'm doing the research, I'd love if any of you could send in advice about good Women's Crisis support, programs to help people get out of abusive situations, affordable therapy, and any financial help there is for people who are trying to move out and leave an abusive situation. Can anyone recommend some therapists?

When I started this blog, I didn't realize so many people came from abuse and struggled with so many things they really don't deserve, even in their present life. I've been overwhelmed with what I realize now you all go through. Hang in there and know that this can be a safe place for you to connect with other's who know what it's like to be afraid when they go home or to feel alone in a bad situation. I'd like to start some sort of group through this blog for survivors so that all of you have a chance to have a community of support. I'm not sure how I'll be going about that yet but I'll keep you posted. If you have any suggestions, let me know!
