- Every birthday and Christmas, he'd make me a home made present- like a collage or a letter or a goofy drawing, telling me what it means to have me in his life.
- He'd cook for me when I was sick.
- He'd take me out to the movies and be super protective (but not too protective)
- He'd protect me from harm and potential harm-even if that meant sacrificing his immediate wants
- He wouldn't ever let me worry about things I shouldn't have to worry about
- He'd financially plan ahead for me and set good financial-examples
- He'd be supportive of me and what and who I loved
- He'd be really goofy and funny and confident and passionate and he'd always stick to his word
- He'd plan lots of family events and no matter how old we were, we'd do crazy fun dinners, trips, and projects together
- He'd always celebrate Christmas with us and call me on my birthday
- He would be proud of me
- He would love me

A Father's Role
